Once the well to do owner of a bar and a restaraunt known as “The Rack and O’pinion”, he is now the cabal leader for a house in Columbia, Mo. Betrayed and nearly killed by the vampires he considered allies he retreated from St. Louis to find a new start and maybe a chance to start anew as Virgil rather than Isaac in a place that will be welcoming, unfortunately he did not find it. He has developed an innate distaste for Vampires, while still thinking Werewolves to be uncontrollable beasts, he has an appreciation for their loyalty to each other, perhaps he is even jealous of them for the bond that they hold to each other.
Virgil at most times is exactly what people picture Mastigos as, but believes that some bond’s have to be built not fabricated. He generally keeps a cool head, but when stressed or angered he becomes silly or malicious and is more than willing to manipulate the situation in order to punish the person that has wronged or angered him.
He also holds a deep seated amount of envy for anyone that can or has found Love, due to his recklessness and curiosity he lost his supposed one and only chance, and even more so because of recent events has had to cut ties to that one and only person.
